At EllipX Exchange, we provide a maker-taker fee structure to determine the trading fees applicable to each transaction. This model distinguishes between orders that add liquidity to the market (maker orders) and those that remove liquidity (taker orders), assigning different fee rates to each category. The fees charged are based on the pricing tier you are in at the time the order is placed.
When you submit a market order that is immediately filled, you are classified as a taker and will incur a fee ranging from 0.03% to 0.30%. Conversely, if you place an order that is not instantly matched with an existing order, it will be added to the order book. In the event where another user places an order that matches yours, you will be considered the maker and will be charged a fee between 0% and 0.25%. All stablecoin pairs will have 0.0015% taker fee and a 0% maker fee.
In cases where your order is partially matched, you will be charged a taker fee for the executed portion. The unfilled remainder of the order will be added to the order book, and upon being matched, it will be treated as a maker order, incurring the corresponding maker fee for that specific portion of the total order. We occasionally apply changes to fees and spreads. These changes may occur across different regions, assets, order sizes, and types of trades or transactions. We will notify users of any expected fees in advance.
Note that updates to pricing tiers may experience some delay.
